About 17 years ago, Trevor began work in the insurance industry after leaving the Royal Australian Air Force. He soon became a Financial Advisor and an authorized representative with Lend Lease Financial Planning Ltd (now known as Apogee Financial Planning Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Australia Bank Group of Companies).

Whilst advising clients on matters of financial investment and risk assessment it became apparent to Trevor that there was a common thread appearing in holding his clients back financially. The clients could not enjoy the fruits of their labour as they had a financial noose (ie; residential mortgage) around their neck. This financial noose prevented the clients from investing and seeing the bigger picture. After several years as a financial advisor Trevor came across a Mortgage Reduction Program (MRP) that appeared to provide a solution to his client’s financial noose. After much deliberation and research to ensure that the MRP would provide this benefit to his clients he seized the opportunity to specialize in this area of the finance industry. Trevor resigned as an authorized representative of Lend Lease Financial Planning Ltd and began working with industry leaders within the MRP and finance sectors.

After several years it became apparent to Trevor that the finance sector was less about educating people on how to work with debt and ultimately be free from debt and more about selling finance. As a result Trevor was establishing himself as an MRP industry leader. Treker Pty Ltd was created with Trevor’s best friend and love of his life his wife Kerrin.

With the client’s education and accountability at the fore front of the Treker business there has been numerous numbers of individuals and families freed from the fear of debt and ultimately creating an ability to grow their financial wealth.
